I arrived home from my wedding last night to find a thank you card from Ali and Chris. Receiving cards from couples means so much to me, believe it or not I have kept every one since I started this career. I was very touched by the card and pleased to see I had the green light to post some pictures.
Ali and Chris had the most perfect winter wedding day! It was a long drive to the Cotswolds but worth it entirely, not only for the warm greeting I received on arrival to the house, but also for the beautiful blue skies that greeted me at my reccy of the church.
Ali has a natural beauty that is all encompassing – you immediately feel good in her company – I was also struck by the wealth of affection that passed between the families at this wedding, it really was a pleasure to be surrounded by. In fact there are so many things I could comment on: the choir singing during the signing of the register (I got a teeny bit caught in the emotion of it); all the effort that Ali and her mum had made decorating the marquee; the light when we came out of the church; little Jessica the flower girl, funny and bright as a button; finally, both sets of parents, they were just lovely, lovely people. Chris and Ali you are so clearly in love with each other I wish you every happiness for the future.

Rebecca-it was such a pleasure meeting you last week. From the moment we met you I felt relaxed with your friendly approach and you integrated so easily in to the hussle and bussle of the increasing excitement within our home. We wanted you to feel welcome in our home and allow you the freedom to use your natural style of photography which we love.
We have viewed the first few photos with much excitement and we are already loving what we have seen. You have certainly captured the mood and atmosphere of the day in so many ways. We eagerly await the remaining images.
Rosie, thank you so much for your lovely comment! Thank you too for your warmth and hospitality on the day, you really did make me feel part of the family. I particularly loved documenting you getting little Jess ready in the morning – what a sweetheart she is. Many more photos to come, around 400 more :) will be in touch soon and have a wonderful Christmas.
Bec…where do we start??! First and foremost, it was the BEST decision we ever made having you there with us to capture the emotion of the day. You are just amazing! We love your style of photography and you’re so enthusiastic about what you do…even driving 3 hours to get to us :) We felt totally at ease in your presence. We’re still laughing about you rolling around in that muddy field to get some good shots of Chris and I in our wellies!
Thank you Becca so so much – we are so excited to see the rest and we highly recommend you to anyone. It was a joy spending the day with you! x
Rebecca well done for such amazing photographs. It’s lovely to see an old school friend looking so well and you have done an amazing job. Brilliant coverage and emotion captured in every shot.
Congratulations to Ali and Chris on their wedding. Great to see Mr and Mrs James haven’t changed much in 15 years!
All the best and Merry Christmas. x
Thank you Neil. Only just spotted your comment in amongst a lot of spam. Had a look at your website and you have some beautiful photography on there. Wishing you all the best for 2012. Becca
