My first wedding of the year was a romantic ‘runaway’ wedding at Millbrook Cottages. Claire and Martin, having been together a few years, decided to finally marry but wanted it to be a very personal day with just their two daughters present.
If you are getting Married at Millbrook in 2013/14 please do get in touch as I have special packages/pricing for Millbrook couples.
A complete surprise to the girls, Claire decided to tell them on the drive down to Devon, presenting each with a goodie bag of wedding essentials such as confetti, bubbles and princess attire. Claire even chose Millicent and Faye’s dresses for them, and seeing their faces as they put them on was lovely.
It was very moving for me to document their day. The love shared amongst the family was truly touching, especially when I saw a tear roll down Millicent’s cheek during the ceremony. Claire looked so beautiful, and spending time with all the family was a joy – even with little Faye’s frequent attempts to evade the camera.
So as I come to the end of my writing, I want to wish them every happiness together and hope they keep in touch, it would be lovely to one day have news of the girls preparing for their own weddings.

i love these teeny-tiny weddings that you shoot. You manage to pack in enough joy for a party of a hundred!
