A relaxed, summer wedding for two

I’ve said it many times on my blog, the thing that makes me love my work is the people I get to meet at Millbrook Estate. Shelley and Jason eloped on a glorious summer day, not wanting too much fuss but hoping for a day full of good memories and joy. I think the images show how much I enjoyed meeting them both and how much I appreciated their choice to do things their way. Jason and Shelley stayed in Lakeview cottage which is my favourite on the estate, and had picked a time of year where the front of Lakeview is cloaked in white wisteria. The wisteria not only looks amazing but smells gorgeous too. After the ceremony we went back to the garden at Lakeview to cut a little cake Shelley had bought, then enjoyed the usual turn around the grounds. The wicker heart, waiting to be decked in fairy lights, was picked up by the couple for a fun picture and is now a favourite photo of mine.
