How I capture your wedding day

The beauty of small weddings and elopements is how much more relaxed the day is. I like to capture your celebrations as they unfold, preferring to respond to the moments as they happen and not disturb the natural flow of things. I usually start my time with you by capturing a few location pictures and then the last bits of your “getting ready”. The remainder of the time is taken up by the ceremony (the important bit!) and following that we tend to go for a wander around the grounds, where I will take some natural and relaxed portraits of you both. Occasionally I might direct things a little bit, but only to ensure we make the best of the light and the backdrops. I’m very sensitive to how I approach things, and am often chosen by couples who would describe themselves as camera shy.

If you are bringing your dog to the wedding then he/she will get a lot of fuss from me. I love dogs and have a lurcher at home called Cobweb - he loves the camera.

Once I am home after the wedding, I will send across a small preview of photos so that you can share a few professional pictures with family and friends. The final set is usually ready in around 2-3 weeks. The images are sent to you in a digital download gallery, making it easy for you to also share them with whomever you wish.
