Steph and Jez at Upton Barns

A little known fact about me is I that I also work two days a week as a Phlebotomist in the NHS! It’s a great counter point to being a wedding photographer. The connection to photography is that many years ago I was a medical photographer in the NHS. Sadly I never returned to the role because I set up my wedding photography business (and the rest is history) but I have loved being a phlebotomist for the last 3 years. Steph a former colleague, asked me last year if I would photograph her wedding. She was my boss at the time so I quickly tried to put her off the idea LOL, as I really didn’t want to have the responsibility of capturing her day. Eventually she convinced me and I am glad she did. It was a beautiful day, full of love and laughter. The highlight for me was the wedding breakfast, a wedding singer got everyone up and dancing during the meal, it had me smiling from ear to ear as I tried to cover the room and capture all the action. Here are a few favourites.
