Lauren & Ben’s Family Elopement at Millbrook
Family weddings are always a favourite of mine as I love working with small children. I am always curious to see how the day will go and what personalities I will meet when I arrive. Lauren and Ben have three children with the youngest 7 months. I met the two boys first and was immediately greeted with smiles and taken off to be shown a cat hiding in the grass and invited to take pictures of them sat by the hot tub. I joked with Ben that It may be all photos of the children as I was enjoying myself too much.
I loved Lauren’s choice of dress, which, with her dark hair and red lips had a sort of Spanish feel to it. The highlight of the day for me would probably be the boys eating cake, their faces filled with satisfaction when they took those first bites. I also loved taking photos (Ben’s suggestion) of Lauren and Ben by the red rhododendron. Here are a few of my favourites.
