Nicola and Matt’s Elopement in the April Sun

How lovely to have photographed Nicola and Matt’s elopement recently, a couple who had met later in life and radiated happiness at finding each other. They shared personal vows during an emotional ceremony, after which we headed back to Lakeview cottage for more photos. Matt had an unusual request for a photo of them in the football shirts of the teams they support, and I was happy to oblige. Lakeview sits up high with lovely views across the lake and to the countryside beyond so it was nice to use the private garden for a few photos with the view as a backdrop. Nicola looked beautiful in her sliver dress, and Heather at Church Park Flowers had made a pretty flower crown full of spring bluebells and grape narcissus, along with a lovely bouquet. We wandered the grounds and I have found a few new spots for photos now that the season is changing. I spotted a pile of silver branches that matched with the greys and blues of the couples outfits so a photo was suggested! Below are some of my favourites pictures from my time with them. Thanks to them for letting me share them with you.

Becca, we are extremely pleased with the photos and love the special moments you captured. The Millbrook shots and spring flowers are great and the blue sky was a bonus. We are very grateful for your expertise and the natural moments the photos show. It was a pleasure meeting you and for your special part in our day, Thank You.
